FAQ's

What is an ISO-Veyor™?

An ISO-Veyor™ is a form of intermodal ISO-Tank for 'dry bulk' materials.

How does an ISO-Veyor™ work?

The ISO-Veyor™ is used for transportation and storage of 'dry bulk' materials. The ISO-Veyor™ uses compressed air to discharge loads in the horizontal position – without tipping.

What are the available options to get an ISO-Veyor™?

There are several possibilities:

1) Capital Sale
2) Lease rental - for a defined period of time
3) Logistics package - door to door delivery

What are the differences between PH Type, GH Type and V Type

The PH Type ISO-Veyor™ is designed for powder materials (less than 100 microns)

The GH Type ISO-Veyor™ is designed for granular materials.

The V Type ISO-Veyor™ is designed for use in conjunction with sludges, slurries, pastes and difficult or inconsistent fluids of granules.

What ancillary equipment is required, when using Iso-Veyors?

ISO-Veyors™ can be used in conjunction with various equipment designed to handle, transport or transfer standard box containers. These are:

Skeletal trailers - Road
FCA wagons - Rail
Reach stackers - Ports and Railheads
Side lifting trailers - Road transfers

Can the ISO-Veyor™ be used for storage?

YES – ISO-Veyors™ can be used to store materials without the requirement to discharge material into dedicated silos. ISO-Veyors™ are also suitable for stacking.

Can an ISO-Veyor™ be manufactured to my specifications?

YES – we can design the ideal ISO-Veyor™ to suit specific materials or project requirements so that payloads are maximised according to local regulations. Choice of construction – mild steel, aluminium, stainless steel.

Can an ISO-Veyor™ be cleaned?

ISO-Veyors™ can be vacuumed clean. Manway hatches can be fitted to the dished ends for easy access.

What is the capacity of an ISO-Veyor™?

As road/rail weight limits vary by country or region, ISO-Veyors™ come in a variety of configurations. 'Swap body' ISO-Veyors™ can also be supplied to offer increased payloads compared to standard dimensions. Please submit a sample of your intended transport and InBulk™ will be pleased to provide an optimum design to suit material and location.

What products or materials can be transported and stored in ISO-Veyors™?

A wide variety of powders or granular materials already being transported by semi-trailers road or rail PD tankers

What is the operation pressure required for discharging ISO-Veyors™.

Either cab/truck mounted or free standing compressors rated at 2 barg (30psi) with minimum 650m3/hr (382 Standard Cubic Feet per Minute) volume of air required.
